EUCAIM encourages the imaging community to join the EHDS Stakeholder Community

The European Federation for Cancer Images (EUCAIM) encourages researchers, clinicians, data scientists, policymakers, patient representatives, and all stakeholders involved in cancer imaging and health data to join the newly established EHDS Stakeholder Community.

The European Health Data Space (EHDS) will shape how health data can be securely accessed, shared, and reused across Europe. As a flagship initiative building a federated infrastructure for cancer imaging data, EUCAIM is already addressing many of the challenges and opportunities that will be central to EHDS implementation, including interoperability, data governance, secure access mechanisms, and cross-border collaboration.

The EHDS Stakeholder Community provides a platform for stakeholders across Europe to contribute their expertise and practical experience to the implementation of EHDS. Through webinars, consultations, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities, participants can help shape the future framework for health data reuse while learning from initiatives across the European health data ecosystem.

Why your participation matters

The future success of cancer imaging research and innovation in Europe will depend on how effectively imaging infrastructures are integrated into the broader EHDS framework. Strong participation from the imaging community can help ensure that the specific needs and experiences of imaging stakeholders are reflected in future policies, technical standards, and implementation strategies.

By joining the Stakeholder Community, you can:

A strong engagement from the imaging community will help ensure that EHDS supports innovation while enabling secure, trustworthy and effective use of health data for the benefit of patients, researchers and healthcare systems.

How to register

The EHDS Stakeholder Community is hosted on the EU Health Policy Platform and is open to organisations and individuals working with health data across Europe. Interested stakeholders can register through the European Commission’s EHDS Stakeholder Community webpage and gain access to community activities, resources and discussions.
